Duck Sports Central is an independent home for Oregon Ducks fans who value substance, community, and thoughtful conversation.

This publication was created to preserve what made our previous community special: shared history, mutual respect, and a genuine love of Oregon athletics. Duck Sports Central is not a message board chasing volume or outrage. It is a single, unified forum—Flock Talk—that carries forward the spirit of both The First Duck Club and the Casanova Center. Recruiting debates, game breakdowns, personal stories, and the occasional light-hearted detour all belong here.

Two rules guide everything we do:
No politics. No religion.
This space exists to unite Ducks fans, not divide them.

I’ve been part of this community since 2003, long before I ever wrote an article or held a title. I stayed because of the people. I started writing because conversation mattered. Over time, that turned into a responsibility to protect what made this place work: honesty, accountability, and respect for the game and each other.

Duck Sports Central also continues long-standing traditions, including the DSA Tailgate before home games—a standing invitation to share food, football, and fellowship. Details will always be posted ahead of each game, and everyone is welcome.

This publication is independent by design. That independence allows for clear thinking, fair criticism, and coverage rooted in experience rather than access-driven incentives. Whether you are here to read, debate, learn, or simply stay connected, you are part of the fabric of this community.
