It was a somewhat tiring yet ruminative day Saturday. I was awakened at 1:45 in the morning by a phone call. While I won’t go into the specifics, one of my employees was involved in a very serious accident in which any number of slight changes, like the cargo in the other semi-tractor, the type of fueling used, and any number of other seemingly insignificant details, could have changed the outcome.
As I was taking an afternoon walk with Fiji, I had three hours and six miles to consider this incident, and my mind raced to some new concepts I had already begun to explore.
