Spring football is always tempting in the same way.
It invites you to chase the shiny thing. A throw. A catch. A freshman flash. A transfer who looks the part getting off the bus. Oregon has enough talent that there will never be any shortage of those moments, and there will never be any shortage of people willing to build a whole week of conversation around one of them.
But the thing that has kept pulling me back this spring is not really what Oregon looks like.
It is what Oregon sounds like.
