Earlier today, I shared my thoughts on Oregon’s projected 2026 wide receiver depth chart, a room that still looks talented on the surface but also shows why the Ducks have to keep pushing on the recruiting trail. As I have been doing throughout the spring, that makes this a natural point to turn back to Recruiting the Future and take a look at some of Oregon’s top wide receiver targets in the 2027 class.

Oregon once looked to have an early foothold there with Nashville (TN) Brentwood Academy receiver Kesean Bowman, who committed to the Ducks last July before reopening his recruitment in September. For a time, Oregon remained in the mix, but Bowman has since moved on. Even so, Ross Douglas has already shown that a miss at wide receiver does not slow Oregon down for long. Since arriving in Eugene, he has recruited at an elite level and continued to give the Ducks a real shot to keep this room stocked with national-caliber talent.

Still, if there is one thing Ross Douglas has made clear since arriving in Eugene, it is that one setback at wide receiver rarely stays a setback for long. Douglas has shown he can recruit at a national level, go toe-to-toe with anyone in the country and continue stacking talent in a room that already attracts attention on its own.

Here are my thoughts on some of the top names Oregon is chasing right now.
