Xavier Sabb is not a projection built only on traits.

He is exciting because he already knows how to play football. He already understands how to win as a receiver. He already has three years of production in all three phases of the game. He already has the speed, body control, ball skills and open-field feel that fit cleanly into an Oregon offense built around explosive plays.
That is what makes this commitment different.
Oregon has been stacking high-impact receiver talent across multiple classes. Gatlin Bair and Jeremiah McClellan were part of the 2024 cycle. Dakorien Moore headlined the 2025 receiver haul. Jalen Lott gave the Ducks another major weapon in 2026. Now, in 2027, Oregon has added Dakota Guerrant and Xavier Sabb to a group that continues to show a clear recruiting identity.
The Ducks are not just collecting wide receivers.
They are collecting explosive answers.
Sabb fits directly into that plan.
He is a polished, multi-sport, three-phase playmaker who can win outside, work inside, create after the catch, threaten vertically and bring return-game value. Oregon does not have to invent a role for him. The role is already there.
