There was never much mystery about what made Nasir Wyatt interesting.
Even last season, when he was still more specialist than full-service defender, the pass-rush juice was obvious. The burst showed up. The bend showed up. The ability to stress tackles with speed and angle showed up. That part of the evaluation was not hard.
The harder part, and the more important part, was always going to be whether he could become more than a third-down answer.
