Sting Factor: Danny Lang to USC
I wrote an earlier Flock Talk mostly on a whim, but I wanted to circle this back toward Oregon athletics a little bit, and this felt like the right place to do it.
First note: as expected, Danny Lang committed to USC over Oregon.
It would be easy to wave that off and say no big deal. Oregon misses on good players every cycle. Every major program does. But the Ducks recruited Lang hard for a reason, and when a priority target ends up somewhere else, there is always some level of sting. The real question is not whether this one stings. It does. The question is how much.
