Oregon is not done recruiting the 2027 class, but the shape of that class is becoming much easier to understand.
There will always be late movement. There will always be players who stay in contact with multiple staffs. There will always be commitments that schools continue to test all the way into signing day.
But the NIL era has changed the way late-cycle recruiting feels.
At the elite level, late flips are still possible, but they feel less likely unless something changes the structure of a recruitment. A coaching change can do that. A coordinator departure can do that. Unexpected roster movement can do that. Turmoil inside a program can do that.
Without one of those things, it feels harder than ever to move a top prospect once the recruitment has settled.
